PROVINCIAL HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE

MANDATE

The Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office shall be responsible for the human resource management and human resource development of the Provincial Government of Bohol and shall implement recruitment, recognition, retention and retirement program and policies in accordance with the Constitutional provisions on civil service pertinent laws, rules and regulations.

SECTIONS/ UNITS

MONITORING & EVALUATION UNIT

The M & E unit serves as the bird’s eye of the PHRMDO in the employees’ overall functionality pertaining to their training, health, and wellness.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT UNIT

The ASU serves as the supporting body on the Administrative functions of the PHRMDO. Responsible for receiving and releasing documents, and dispensing of office funds and materials, among others.

RECRUITMENT, SELECTION & PLACEMENT SECTION

The RSP is responsible for the overall human resourcing and manpower gathering for the Provincial Government. Serves as the secretariat for the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board. (HRMPSB).

HUMAN RESOURCE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SECTION

The HRIMS is the point section in managing information regarding the Provincial government’s employees and workers. They timely update and provide data upon the inquiry of the clients.

Human Resource Welfare Benefits & Relation Sections

The Human Resource Welfare Benefits and Relations Section is in charge of processing the employees’ payrolls, benefits, and compensations.

Learning and Development Section

The learning and development section is in charge of the processes by which the employees may avail of upskilling and enhancing their knowledge that may capacitate to result in better overall employee and organizational performance.

Performance Management

The Performance Management section is aimed at maintaining the overall performance of employees by monitoring their task priorities, responsibilities, development, and expectations.

Rewards and Recognition

The Rewards and Recognition section is responsible for the acknowledgment of exemplary and outstanding employees in their different fields of work. The PHRMDO highly emphasizes the importance of giving recognition to employees to motivate them and other employees to improve performance and camaraderie.
